Quick Question for XSi owners.

My camera is making a small noise that I've never noticed before, and so I'd like to see if it's normal... before I drive down to the service center.

Holding the camera in front of your face, oriented as if you were to take a picture.. slightly shake the camera forwards and backwards.

Do you hear anything?

I hear a little thing inside make a clacking noice. It's not as if something is moving around freely, more like something is a little loose and moves very little but enough to make a slight noise.

Camera shoots perfectly fine though.

Not the image stabilizer in the lens is it?

It's the guide arms for the flash, nothing to worry about.

Pop the flash up - you will notice that the guide arms have a little play and will move around pretty easily.
