I am interested in upgrading from a Finepix S9000, and I am searching everywhere. One thing I would like is to have a camera that has a lense to be able to keep the widest aperature, even when at maximum focal length - quite expensive, I see. But I also came across cameras with small lenses, and the specs on it was "1:3.5-5.6" . :raisedbrow: What does this mean? Does this mean that the lense ONLY opens from 3.5-5.6? Is that it? Or am I missing something? And also, what is the 1 for ?
Hopefully someone knows the answer to my questions. Thanx for all your help in advance!!!
