Was visiting relatives... saw this corner, glowing in the afternoon sun. Keeper or weeper?

It's not horrible, but I don't care for the sliver of brightness on the right edge, and the chair is too close to the edge to crop.

I think it would be visually beneficial if the chair faced into the frame, rather than out.

Are those sensor dust spots, or marks on the wall?

The colors and overall composition make this a keeper. It's not quite "perfect", as the Jeweler pointed out, but it's close to it.

@ David: knot stains showing through the paint. They've been there for years, and somehow I just don't notice them. And yet they are obvious to anyone with a fresh set of eyes.

Thanks to all for commenting. Sometimes you "see" a scene and you think, "wow, that's nice". Then there's the little trick in transferring the vision to something you can capture and show. And then even when you do capture, you realize that the emotional context is hard to reproduce (you were there, your viewers weren't). But that is good training, for this exercise reminds me that visually the image must stand on its own.

It needs a sort-out, but one for the archive, imo. (I assumed that's what you were asking).
