R5 vs R6 II

Hi,

After using Canon 6D for many years planning to upgrade to mirrorless. Evaluating R6 mark II vs R5. Primary use will be photography (not videography). R5 is 3 year old model vs R6 II being absolutely latest. Hence, inclined towards R6 II.

Expect good low light photography with lower noise and fast focusing and better dynamic range.

Request your advise on R5 or R6II.

Comparing a 24mp camera vs a 45mp camera is a bit unfair. The R6ii has much better specs except for sensor size. If you are mainly shooting landscapes or typically heavily crop, then 45mp has it's advantages. If not, then the newer model with better specs makes sense to me, especially if you are into video.
