Are you here visiting, I live here if you have any free time and want some info on the "non touristy" things to check out.

My wife and I are just visiting. We've been here for 1.5 weeks. We leave Friday night. My wife went to UH Manoa before moving away, so she's got the kamaaina connection. We've been all over the island. We drove to the North shore, and all the way around the east side of the island, and then to Tantalus, and up the Pali Hwy to the Valley of the Temples. It's been great. We hope to come back again soon. I'd love to hook up then.

You have lucked out with the weather for the most part then, only a little wet for the rainy season.

Pali lookout is one of my favorite places on the island.

That first shot sooooo makes me wanna visit Hawaii!!! How gorgeous! I could sit and watch/listen to the waves roll in for hours.
