Interesting patterns, but a little overexposed, imo. The sky and the beams in the background are too light, and that highlight in the middle of the foreground rail is killing me. If this is a conversion from color, and if the sky was not blown out, you should be able to make it darker with the cyan slider in the conversion. If not, you should be able to select all the sky areas pretty easily and then just knock them down just a tiny bit, and maybe the beams in the background also.

I'm not sure I understand the title, but there are some parallels, to be sure. I think the symphony might be a stronger and more coherent work, though

I do like the contrast and parallels between the foreground and the background! Not bad at all. It's not fully hanging together for me, but the more I look the more I like like!

I just rocked to some Rachmaninoff the other night. Before I clicked on the thread my first thought was it was going to be an image showing something difficult/ demanding. Or maybe sheet music. LOL. I think I know where you're going with this but like amolitor, it's not fully there.
