Crop it and edit!

I like the original. Very nice sharp panning shot. Really shows the speed. WAY better than what I could do.

I like the crop and edit even more. Though there seems to be some halo'ing around the bike. I am sure this was a quick edit as I have seen Keith do much better. Very nice for a quick and dirty job! Really brings the subject out without loosing the speed.

As mentioned, the edit was just quick and dirty on your small online JPEG, and was intended for illustration purposes only. The halo is from dodging the rider and burning the background.

The main point about the edit is the crop, and the fact the rider is under exposed.

The basic composition of the original is ok. The rider just lacks scale in the photo and there are some distracting elements in the background, both issues solved to a large degree by the crop..
