One way to make it look sad is to get lucky when it's burned so that it curls, looking like its head is drooping. I see it happen to matches from time to time. That said, I bet you could burn 100 right now trying to get it to curl and it won't. But the next time you burn one to light the grill or something, it's gonna curl perfectly. That's my luck, anyway.
