The Horizon could be straight. and your model looks awkwardly possed. like shes strugling to stay balenced, but that could just be me. but its a nice idea

I'm not so worried about the horizon as much as I am the model's dress. It is why she looks so "off balance". With such a "poofy" dress you can't see her hips are in a "sexy" pose. You could try a closer crop too. There's way too much sky and other distractions in this shot. Just my $.02

In addition to the above points with which I agree is the point on the track at which you have chosen to place your model. You've use the leading line effect of the track to good effect in that you have obscured the convergence point with the model, BUT on the spur image left, the tracks grab the eye and take it right to the car a couple of hundred feet behind the model.

I would suggest reshooting this, with the model in a more form-fitting dress and situate her well away any switch-points or other distractions, keep her centered between the rail, but NOT in the image, and be a little farher back. Also consider the use of a much larger aperture and longer lens to soften background focus and isolate the subject more thoroughly.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

i don't like it :( i think its the location, this could work better without the buildings and trees. The second bit of track is distracting and i'm spending more time looking at that than your sexy model over there on that track, this could be because the other track is leading towards yet another distracting building.

Take her further out to a more secluded area... i know i would :-P

The tracks add nothing what so ever to the shot, not a good location for a shoot

what if she straddled the tracks...you take it from the rear (ok..pervs...I mean have her ass to ya) and her looking over her shoulder...kinda like...she knows shes gotta make a decision...but the dress and the railroad tracks? I dont get that at all...she looks like she's going to an event why would she be on railroad tracks? Maybe put her on the side of the road and hitchhiking...and sticking her leg out a bit and pulling up on the skirt?...
sorry...I'm more a fan of pin up poses...

sounds like porn.

scrap the shot. it doesn't work on many levels.

Na...if she was leaning over a car door talking to a shadow of a person on the corner of 5th and jackson...that would be a porn shot.

Maybe have her on the road, make her carry her shoes...walking away from her car (make the car in the far background...) like she broke down...and is walking towards you...

Yeah. I don't get the whole model on the railroad tracks thing.

Everything about this shot is wrong because her pose is wrong. Get her pose right and everything about this shot then becomes right.

It made me laugh out loud. Here she is with the typical pin up chick model pose out her where it is just so out of place. I had to laugh.

Get her pose right and its a winner. How about shoes off looking like she would rather be anywhere the tracks could take her and not where she is? Sitting exasperated on the tracks? Definitely not smiling. Not looking at the camera but at the distant horizon? Get the pose right.

I would of tried to frame it with her facing straight at the camera legs spread just inside the rails. Her looking above & past the camera. Taken from a low perspective with the rails converging between her legs, but not taking an upskirt pic. With nothing else in the image but the rails & sky (if possible)
It may just be my screen, but it looks like the contrast is really low which really hurts the exposure IMO...

Exactly...
but thats not really a "pin up pose" either.... that's more of a JcPenny womens clothes ad pose.
