I personally think you cut off the wrong end. Don't center your horizon...make it the bottom third of your photo...and keep the rainbow.. Also, straighten your horizon...I think it would help this shot.

BTW, there's always 2 rainbows. They travel in pairs.

widescreen is better. you can see the double rainbow more clearly. they are much harder to capture.

the second image makes the rainbow look much less intense.

did you know that when you fly, and you see a rainbow, they aren't in arches, they are in circles???
