Thanks. Not really sure. Took it in the backyard. I think they are pretty typical around these parts, I will see if I can find out.

The amount of detail the d810 is capable of still impresses me. In the un-cropped version you can barely see the bird at all. I cropped it way way in and while not perfect its still pretty incredible to be able to crop to this degree.

Pretty bird, but the plants kill the image.
Rain is interesting, but more would be better.

Yeesh. What camera are you using?

Anyway, it's not so much a matter of cropping more as cropping differently. Like your goose picture, you have this guy looking directly out of the frame. Sometimes that works. Depends on the image. I don't think it works in this one.
