Do you use a rental studio for shoots like this? I use a few different ones in my area, but I don't think there's a single one in my area with something like this.

Yes I did slow the shutter and used continuous light so I can make the drops more than tiny little points. I use a rental studio my friend owns. I have my own studio but his is bigger.

Rental studios are such a blessing. I use one here in Portland that has tons of space, lots of props and backdrops, and has 6 Profoto flash heads with every modifier I could possibly need, all for $80 per hour, though I imagine that rate will be increasing this year considering they've had that pricing for the last 9 years and the cost of everything else in our daily lives is skyrocketing.
Rental studios have allowed me to book high end jobs that require gear that is massively out of my reach in price, and I just bake the rental fee into my fee.

This rental studio went to all continuous lighting and all connected to a tablet for many of the sets. Used to have 15 heads now has either bicolor or rgb. No more clipping gels on.
