I like the composition on 2, and the graduation of the DOF, but I think if the shadow was stronger (darker) the photo would be more interesting.

I'm surprised no one has complained about the horizon in #1. The mountains wouldn't be bad, but the water line seems tilted to one side.

I'm glad you pointed out the horizon. Something happens every time I take photos like that where they become slightly tilted despite the fact that I try to line everything up. Any suggestions?

As far as the flooding goes, I'm doing just fine as I live in a high area. However, anyone on the lake isn't exactly doing great. Luckily it's evaporating pretty quickly now that we've got some sun. There were buildings that were almost completely submerged on Thursday, though. Pretty crazy stuff.

Get it close in camera, get it perfect in post.

I like the push pin, crop out the white thing in the background on the right side of the photo- it bugs the little OCD person inside me.
