There is a theme called "Vanishing Point" somewhere down in the vaults of the Photo Themes, could be worthwhile looking for. Your first photo definitely fits in that category.
Should I add that I am particularly partial to "vanishing point" effects in photos?
The desaturated flowers in Photo4 are well contrasted - were they originally yellow??? Or pinkish of sorts?

Thanks guys, LaPhoto I always seem to forget about those themes
and yes the mums were originally bright yellow, I converted them to B&W and then to duotone.
