Hi everyone. I'm new to the board & photography & editing.

I'm looking for critique of my pictures- My camera is a.. ahem... POS Sony Cybershot 4.1 mp.. so yea the quality could be much better.... anyway. They are nothing compared to the pro. ones I've seen here already, but hey- I've gotta start somewhere!

You've got some good shots there. (Is that you in the last one?) The guinea pig one is fun...you definitely 'filled the frame' with your subject. I like the surroundings of the first lamb shot better (more natural in the hay, than by the corrugated tin), and you can see the lamb's eyes, which I always prefer in animal/bird shots. The bride pic is lovely....a little soft, but the 'tilt' is nice and you got some good detail of the lace and beading on the gown.

Welcome! I'm fairly new myself. I really like the lamb shoot. I also am a point and shoot user, but like you said, we have to start somewhere!

Thanks guys! No, thats not me- I didn't take that pic either, my friend sent it to me to photoshop. I never thought about the background, thats really interesting and true though! Thanks!
