Well, I was to tired to go out last night, excellent night fog conditions, so I hit the road early this morning expecting the same fog conditions but the fog was gone. Headed for Lake Ontario but still no fog, however, I did manage to make my early morning venture worth my effort. Two coffees, one muffin, 89 images and three hours later this is what I have to show.

I picked the right time to get the "Canadas" getting up.

Heading back towards home. I pass this farm every morning on the way to work and have been dying to shoot it.

Yikes! Came over the top of a hill to find three deer in the middle of the road. As I came to a stop I snapped this one through the front windshield. Lucky I had my 300mm on. Did not even wait to check the settings.

The other two took off but this one stopped to take a look before heading for cover. Sweet!

Well, back to bed to catch up on my missed rest.

Airic, these are soooo good. The first of the "Canadians", that "flight study" is just - the best! But all others are too.
And the colours in those when the early sun began to rise...!! :cheer:

After my deer accident a couple of weeks ago, that of the fleeing deer can't but give me a fright, though. Whoa.

Great fun to come looking at your photos, over and again!

Well worth the 3hrs. If you want fog, come and visit me, we have lots (only a 12 to 14hr drive from Whitby)

Love the picture of the goose taking off. Its hard to get good pictures of the landing and take off, plus you have to be at the right angle to get the best results.

Its been really foggy here lately. Last thursday the fog wasnt to near the ground yet and the lights on the radio antenna stations were lighting the fog up, it would have been a great picture, but I didnt have my slr with me, just my digital that only has a 3 second exposure limit.

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments. Sometimes I burn a tank of gas looking for pics and don't find any and today I went out twice and got some amazing pics in my own backyard. Random Part Two will be posted shortly. I think I have my photo fix in for another week As I head back to the support desk tomorrow for another week of problem solving.
