This only the 3'rd or 4'th Milk snake I've ever found.
He was sunning himself on an old rock pile today but he slithered back in before I could get any shots.
I sat tight for a little while before he finally emerged out the other side heading for a log pile a few feet away.
He finally popped back out and became my model for a little while.
I finally had all my gear with me, so I spun on the 50mm and set the flash on a stand for a quicky studio set, and got the little sucker to pose.
This was also my first attempt at using off camera flash(Neewer750II) on close up nature critters so any input(good OR bad) would be appreciated.
