RAW to JPG

Hey all,

I just got a Canon Digital Rebel and this is the first DSLR for me. I wanted to try shooting RAW and when I imported the photos to lightroom then edited them, they looked great. Once I exported and uploaded a couple I see they look very washed out and the color is way off. I have Lightroom set to sRBG for the colorspace and I don't think that is it.

Do I need to somehow convert the images from raw to something else before I edit them?

I have lightroom and I love it, but I have experienced the problem before, and it is not lightroom or the setting. My problem was the browser that I was using. I only had it happen once and have not seen it since.

This probably isn't the case but are you exporting in .jpg or .tiff? I dont think that most sites (like flickr, here, etc) will read or accept RAW.
