Ready to rock

Tomorrow's the big day. I'm so stoked....

C&C if you want. Used a lightbox I made, ironically from a Canon printer box. 285HV on the left at a 45 degree angle and sb-600 on the right at 45 deg. Both at 1/16 power fired by pocketwizard plus II's. Lens was a 50mm 1.8.

Sure

#1. The angle of shot - this can be in the level of the eye based on the ticket. So, when you focus on the ticket, normally, the surroundings can be blurred...here....the guitar body got blurred except the string part. Now, try focusing the ticket without blurring the red guitar body; OR, by not blurring the fret board....atleast for a bit of length.


#2. In Monochrome, if this was a full pic, it would've been much better.

#3. Again, angle of the shot...if you would've got the neck and string keys of the fret board, it would've be really nice......

These are my suggestions and you may differ.....again, I am not a pro...but I love photography...still learning.

#3 is my favorite, but I would have composed things differently - less white on top. It looks like you were intent on getting the ticket dead center, but your eye would be drawn to it for other reasons.
