They seem very bright to me on my calibrated monitor.

I'm also on a calibrated monitor, printed these on canvas prints, and a bunch of 4x6. They all came out great :D

Exposure on the first four look pretty good. After that they all appear over exposed. That large white building in the background of #7 and #10 is very distracting.

First shot you are far enough away from the subject that you can hardly see them. Also, what are those white spots on the left of #2?

I bet these looked awesome on canvas!

I get it . I like the brightness . Nice set !

These are all exposed for print so they're about .5 over exposed intentionally. My monitor is calibrated that way. :D If you notice the first 4 shots, not a lot of sky are in the photo. All the other shots include more sky. Sky=brighter than people=will over expose if you exposed for the skin/face.

The large white building is the famous Big Bear Observatory. It's intentionally included in the composition for context. Without it, it's just another lake. lol

The first shot was never intended to be a portrait or even environmental portrait. It's more or less a landscape shot with people in it to set the scene and tell the story of where they're at. So yeah, with that kind of shot you won't be able to see the people clearly but just notice that they're there.

The white stuff in #2, that's my secret. No it's not Photoshopped in :D
