Recommend some lighting?

I was looking at some lighting for video. Does anybody have an opinion on what would be a good brand to get. Do you know anything about Osram in particular?

Anyway, I'd love all the opinions I can get!

We'd need to know a little more about what sort of things you want to light, what sort of look you want, how portable you need the lighting to be, what your budget is etc. There is a very wide variety of equipment available, at a very wide range of prices.
