I played with it for fun, wondered what it would be like cropped and adjusted.

Thanks - always pleased that folk are willing to have a play with my images. I post for entertainment and interest - not just ones I would enter for club competitions and always enjoy comments and suggestions. Viewing first time on the desktop as poste via laptop so can see your problem with the noise - possibly the "sharpen for screen" setting in the uploading in Lightroom did not help.
