The horizon line is a bit crooked (doesn't go well with water - the image will eventually leak! 
), and all in all the colours are quite ... muted. They COULD be brighter, I think. I like how the child's anorak is the colour of autumn. That is a nice touch. I see it was an all overcast day, grey weather, but wouldn't you want to give the photo some more contrasts, all the same (after you straightened that horizon, which will affect the child's feet, though, I'm afraid ...).
