Refurbished by Canon - What do you think?

I'm considering buying a Refurbished by Canon 16-35mm L and save $250
http://www.adorama.com/CA1635R.html over a new one. I'm thinking that they'll have looked it over, calibrated it, passed it and sent it back out. What do you think?

That sounds about right to me too. I've purchased many used lenses over the years and had good luck. Looks like Adorama is giving a 90 day warentee. I wouldn't be afraid to do it.

I would do it. I'm personally am not opposed to using refurbished items. Getting it from a trusted name like adorama would but my mind even more at ease.
