Just me maybe, but they the babies, appear a bit flat. The main light seems to be from the left and is perhaps a bit low, not giving enough defining shadow?

Your friend better be careful, "Making" babies and selling them on Etsy, I think that is illegal!

Okay now for something useful.
I would selectively sharpen the kids, and darken the background slightly. Then use the "Burn" tool and give the kids a little more definition and contrast.

Adorable! These all do a lot to show off the hats. I love the first and second shots but I think FITBMX's suggestions are good to improve them. Definitely sharpen the eyes a bit more. That last one, IMO, would be better as a square or landscape crop as I find all the blurred background above the subject to be unnecessary and distracting.

Suggestions for improvements aside, they're adorable kids and they show off the hats brilliantly. Quit your day job and become their child model manager!

A solid job here, IMHO. Super cute little ones. Im sure the hats will sell out faster than she can whip them up!
