I knew we had the same camera, but presumably the same lens as well! (VR I'm assuming) You have excellent taste!

As far as the photo it looks good but I think you could make it even better with some fine-tuning of contrast and especially saturation. Make the colors pop!

No, mine is the older version, I would like the VR but can't justify spending money on another 24-120. This shot was posted as it's printed. When I pump up the saturation and contrast, the print looks very artificial. So I left it as it is.
