Reputation System?

Any other way for noobs to find the right people to go to for right info? Like go to Majeed for Landscapes, Mish for leather care, KHM for overwhelming tech advice and terri for pug related tips etc...?

I do, punkin, but it's just one of those subjective calls by people who now just "like" others routinely. At least that's a less intrusive denotation of who has made a good impression...the Rep thing added these little yellow boxes (or little red ones for naughty people) and they grew into these mammoth lines. Not only did they just look silly after awhile, the complete subjectivity of them does turn it into a cliquey thing, as Andrew mentions.

Besides, I beat my pug when he pisses me off. :meh:

To be fair and to stroke a few egos most of the more vocal folks don't post photos often, heck I didn't even know Overread owned a camera, but I did some digging on flicker and was blown away bey the quality of work by folks who never post stuff on here.

I know who to go to for landscapes, head shots and whatnot but some people may not.

I like the idea of getting a wide range of answers from people rather that directly looking at the most respected / reputed.

I'm still relatively new here, but I still say no, don't bring it back

Better get that checked. Broken sarcasm can lead to a whole other set of problems.
