Well I called my doctor to make an appointment but he hung up on me. Apparently he thought I was just being sarcastic! Nothing quite like being slapped in the face with the steel gauntlet of Irony I guess.. lol

The only forum I've seen positive AND negative reputation work on is one where there are around 15 or so active members in any one month. Ie small and close knit community size where its really just a silly thing than something serious. Sadly on bigger sites it just does not work.

It starts out nice then you get the little click-cliques start up. From there on it goes sour - people run around neg-repping people because they don't like them then that persons friends respond by neg-repping the neg-repper and then so on and so on. Yeah we just don't need all that

Any other way for noobs to find the right people to go to for right info? Like go to Majeed for Landscapes, Mish for leather care, KHM for overwhelming tech advice and terri for pug related tips etc...?

I've seen systems with positives only (+1, Like) and I've seen systems with positives and negatives, but I think there's a huge opportunity waiting in the negatives only model.

OMG, my dress was the epitome of the 80's, blue satin with GINORMOUS shoulders so all of the above lmao!
