Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I am entering a contest, and it says the photo has to be high enough resolution to be printed in a magazine. It's digital, not a print, and I'll be emailing it, if that makes a difference. If I keep it at the size it was right out of the camera, and save it at the highest setting...will that work?

I would assume 300 DPI...so change your PPI to that. Then you can see/change what the actual size would be. I don't know how big you would need it to be. Best bet would be to ask who ever is in charge of the contest.

If your going to be emailing it, you'd better check your, and the recipients, maximum email sizes. I'm guessing a hi-resolution shot big enough to print might get on the large size of things. Prolly won't be a problem but if it bounces that's probably why.

300 dpi is fine... but make it close to the size it will appear when printed. If the photo will be printed 2x3 inches, save it 2x3 inches at 300 dpi.

Good luck!
