It's a pretty cool tower indeed. There is an observation deck...outside just under the ball where you can walk completely around taking photos of Dallas...including downtown. The upper portion of the ball host a restaurant that actually rotates! And if thats not enough, the ball is covered with LED lighting which can reflect any color and most shapes. It's not uncommon to see Basket balls and hoops for the Mavs or baseballs for the Rangers etc.
