Ring around the Moon

So last night I went outside and saw there was a perfect circle around the moon.

My guess is the clouds have to be just right for this to happen.

I grabbed my camera quick and got this shot. Handheld, ISO 12,800, so forgive the quality.

By the time I went back inside to get my tri-pod, the circle around the moon was gone.

The orange light is a street light if you were wondering.
