Yes I did use a polarizer for # 1.

I did do some pp, but it was just to get the scan to look like the original slide.

The slide looks even better. More details in the shadows.

Pretty much just got it. I was in Rocky Mt National Park. We were hiking along trail ridge road and I saw a cool scene.

My pics are pretty simple. I just react to what I see, there isn't a lot of set-up. Maybe that's a bad thing?
