Rock Climbing 4/9/13-4/11/13

I wasn't sure where the best place to post my photos would be, hopefully this is the best sub-forum. I am a new photographer and rock climber and would like to post photos for general critique (and enjoyment ) on a weekly basis. Should I be posting my weekly photos in the same thread or create new threads for each week? Regardless, here are this week's photos!

Hallo, "SleightOfHand", I think you chose the right sub-forum for your photos, as most of them (save the pretty tortoise) are about your sport.
It's your choice if you want to keep this one thread or start a new one every week; some people don't scroll much, though, which might mean your more recent photos get viewed less. But you may find yourself a group of followers?

Those photos taken from above, looking down, give me instant vertigo! Whooo.
Focus is not QUITE precise in #3, but I really like #4!! That one is my favourite of this little series.

I'm diggin' that first one a lot, simply because I don't know what perspective I'm viewing it from.

For me, because of that, it's a killer photo...

Thanks for the advice I agree with #3, I am quite upset about it being a bit out of focus, but I really like the face that he made while reaching for the hold, so I decided to keep it. While it is not common, I will occasionally take some non-climbing shots and try to shoot some of the other stuff around (like the turtle and slackline), should I not post them here?

I agree! "Buttshots" in climbing photography is the most common amongst amateur climber photographers and are usually pretty bad because they are always taking the photos from right below the subject and you cant really see anything, but this time, it looks pretty decent!
