Dean, pidgeons are so photogenic and yet so often overlooked. Nice photo.

Nice shot.I agree that they are over looked and its not just a pigeon at least to me as they have some unique colors and markings on top of very cool eyes. Next time you get another chance squat down low around eye level blow out the background can make a unique portrait, that's providing you physically can.

I agree totally. I guess because everyone thinks of them as pests, people just ignore them. Thank you!

Thank you for that info. I have no problem getting down on the ground...it's getting up that takes a little longer :biglaugh:

I was standing on a seawall watching them land in the parking lot and praying they didn't " dapple " me with their calling card. I know I would have been swimming if they had lol.

Thats my problem dean getting up is a lot harder, come's with the age I guess. I was no mild child growing up either and I nearly killed my self with all the crazy stunts that didn't always end well, and that really kicks the snot out of the human body when we get older.LOL

Nice!

Nice shot Dean, they remind me of the Starling bird. Just a plain looking bird, but if you catch the light right on the bird then the colours show beautifully, so you did a good job.
