This is one of the photos from my session with a really cool girl.

I would love some C&C both on the lights, and the post production. One thing I don't like with the photo is the yellowish line around her face. It comes from the hairlight, and I guess it would dissappear if I had taken a small step sideways, or adjusted the light in some way. Any suggestions on that issue are very welcome!

C&C per req: It's a nice image, but there's something that seems just a little off here; I think I would like to see the model separated much further from the background, and the lighting toned down. I think with this hair and the tattoo, a low-key portrait would be stronger. I also find her eyes just a touch dark. I would like to see at least a little detail in them.

That's one wicked tat there! I agree with the above. The image is interesting but somewhat flat as if not enough light was used, or at least light creating the separation from the background. Some post editing with a vignette and brightening the eyes would help. As for the line around her face, try masking and zooming in very tight to match the background color with paint as a quick fix.
