very cool image. love the lines in the sand and how the rest of the sand is really clean looking. rocks have a great leading line to them.
curious if you tried shooting a little lower to slightly minimize the empty space between the last rock and the background imagery?

The rock on the foreground looks almost angelic with those lines around it. I would either crop this a smidge or bulldoze that new construction on shore. Nice composition and nice photo overall though.

I agree with that 100 %, the far shore is totally unimpressive, separated by the distance it seems like second subject of this picture as there is very little mental connection with the stones.

have to agree with above posts; however I would have tilted the tripod around so as to block out the land altogether and just get the waves and rocks.

It works with or without the background, imo. A bit heavy on the tint for my taste, but well, that's my taste ...
