Went down to my local skatepark tonight and got some shots, here's the only good one

Backside royale? I used to be reeeeeeally into skating.

It's a sharp shot, good timing. I like his position in the frame, but I think the headroom is a bit much (and by trimming it, you'd probably want to bring the bottom up a little, as well).

Besides that, the dark background is nice to isolate him in the frame, but it's probably a bit darker than would be ideal. It's a time of day issue, and I'm sure you're shooting at at least 1/250 or so to freeze skaters, but more ambient light would definitely improve it.

I like the random streetlight, it helps to give a little bit of perspective.

Hope that helps. Skate photography is a lot different than most types in that harsh flashes are pretty much encouraged, so don't be surprised if the uninitiated critique that. Good luck with it!
