Is the first one HDR'd?

Looks like the focus has just missed on it? Second has a little too more foreground in it for me, It makes his look very small..

No the first is not a HDR shot. The flash allowed me to go to 1/200 which is not a lot for this kind of shot but I personnally find it's cool. We can,like this,see his speed and movement.
