One of the best sunsets I've seen this year at the coast was this Christmas Eve at Pebble Beach. These baseball-sized rocks roll over each other as the surf comes in and out, creating an interesting sound.

Sea lions were playing in the waves just off shore. If you look closely, you can make out their heads in the water.
