Very nice Dan. Funny i didn't read your post right away, and I was thinking that's odd a lot of grain in a few of them until I realized that was the effect you were after. It works very nice.

Thank you so much. Yeah, sometimes the grain just feels right, and sometimes not, even within the same series of photos. I tend to decide based on the individual shot.

My take: this is a nice series. I don't like the blue background with her makeup. In fact, her goth look lends itself well for B&W. Also, b/c her hair and eyes are dark and a lot of shadow or B&W works really well for her, some dodging (so her eyes have more detail) is something I'd suggest.

That said, I think the use of fabric is something I love and especially in the first and last shots. And I think you've got a range of diverse looks and poses here. I can absolutely see why she was happy with the results.
