Roses - AGAIN again!

My father-in-law had raved about his beautiful roses on the phone and I had hoped there'd still be some around yesterday when we went over for my parents-in-law's joint birthday party, and indeed, I still found the odd flower.

And there are still some promises out there...

... and blossoms without ...

...or with some funny inhabitants

Thank you - also I think that this close-up came out nicely.

Amazing lens does that tiny digital Canon have - not even the macro version of the extended zoom lens of the "big" Canon (the non-digital SLR) would allow me to get this close into the flower. Makes me happy .

These were taken on the same occasion and with the same camera as the "Hanging Strawberry", i.e. last Sunday on the joint birthday party of my parents-in-law, of who my mother-in-law has turned 83 on June 30 and my father-in-law will turn 82 on 8 July.

Which of these would you enlarge and give to him?
Or would you suggest I prepare a collage?
