It looks like a nice result. Plenty sharp with nice colour. I have the Tamron 100-400 and use the FTZ convertor. Supposedly the Nikon 200 -600 Z is being released either along side the new Z8 or soon after. Don't quote me though.

So far, I am quite pleased with the converter and am not seeing the loss of stops as major as with the analog version.

A 200-600 would be nice, but the weight any more just kills me...getting too old to lug around another boat anchor. I was shooting the 60-600 Sigma with the 1.4 converter (Sigma's) and discovered I needed a sherpa just to carry the lens. I have a 200-500 on a D500 if I need more range.
