maybe you could post a larger image so the detail would be more clearly visible.

This may only be due to its size, but the first light draws my eye to it as the subject, but the second is in focus. I like how the light is caught by the rafters and conduit-it makes good use of the negative space. the triangle formed by the row of lights and the conduit do a good job of moving your eye through the image, but because none of its corners are in focus, it leads to some confusion.

I think having the second lamp in focus draws the eye further into the image.

Have you tried different crops of this?

No, but I see where you are going with that. I could crop from the second light back for a more even flow.
