Some images from a model test yesterday. Shot in natural light with a $1 white foam board as a reflector, shot on a 5D MKI with an EF 85mm f/1.8 lens attached.

Great set, $1 well spent! :D

The foam board gave great eye catchlights, especially on shots 1 and 2! I like the dimensionality eye catchlights can add to outdoor shots.

Thank you.
Most reflectors are small, cheap and easy to use tools that I think are so under utilized by a lot of photographers.

Great series! Love the attitude and compositions!

Great set of photos, love #1 & #2 with #2 being the best imo as it really does go well in mono.

Nice set. Interesting model - I like his intensity in these.

I have used cheap white pizza boxes ar times.
Whatever gets the job done, it's really the photographer's way of using the light that matters most, not necessarily the "quality" of the gear. I love it when I get a great shot knowing I used something so cheap and simple to do it.

Thanks! I agree, that shot didn't have as much impact when it was in color.
