Finally got the little guy to hold still a couple of months ago:

This was taken through my Nikon Digiscope with Coolpix camera attached. :)

I had to look up to see what a Nikon Digiscope is lol. Well now I learned something new. How far were you to get that shot. I read that with a scope you can zoom up to 3000 mm.

I had to look up to see what a Nikon Digiscope is lol. Well now I learned something new. How far were you to get that shot. I read that with a scope you can zoom up to 3000 mm.

I was in the comfort of my living room, shooting out an open window to the feeder, which was placed about 25 feet away from me. :) The hummingbird kept choosing a feeder port on the other side of the feeder, so I put a small stick in each opening except the one I wanted him to be at, hee hee.

The digiscope system is a lot of fun to play around with. I'll post a photo in another thread of the full moon I got with it. :)

Tiny bit soft (unavoidable, I'm sure!) but such wonderful colours, and its eye is nice and sharp.
