Were these taken from a car?

First photo would have been better in summer, or if more emphasis was on the barn. Nothing stands out or keeps my attention, but it is pretty country side.

Secod photo. Even though the coca cola signs are bright red and stand out, I still find myself drawn to the blurry trees.

there looks to be considerable camera shake to me, nothing is truly in focus

are you shooting from a moving car? #1 white balance is off i think for this shot, #2 sky is kinda blown out .

Yep, you are always going to get better landscape pictures by not shooting from a moving vehicle. If you want to get serious about this, then put a bit more effort into the picture taking process.
