Your vignetting is killing your images. It's even covering her face in some.
You have major problems with cropping in odd places and distractions.
The first looks like typical on camera flash in the face.
They kind of look like they were taken in auto mode with no thought to the composition or end product. The one of her in the door won't print to any standard size without cropping in on that door.

Wow, you literally took the thoughts right out of my head.

Im with you on the vignette. But the crops are all 3x2.

Thank you for the honest feedback. I will tone down the vignetting. But yes, as DiskoJoe said, they are all standard 3x2 sizing. This was actually a flash assignment. And I normally only shoot natural light. So, I know I need more practice with that... AND a better flash than my standard camera one.

Though I do think your comment on this being shot in auto mode was a bit below the belt. I only shoot in manual mode.

You didn't control the environment like you can and should in manual.
Doing a flash assignment in the full light of day is obviously going to take some of that control from you, so perhaps a better choice of environment would have been wiser. Or a better use of the flash.
It really doesn't matter what you DO, only what comes out in the image.

That seems to be a self afflicted statement if I've ever seen one. Everyone uses their camera differently. "I only shoot in manual mode," is a very self patronized comment, implying that you're above shooting in auto.

Lets get something straight here. Auto mode is just another tool on your camera, and has its useful purpose in some cases as well. In fact, I use auto for snaps from time to time if the lighting is adequate and I am too lazy to mess with the settings. It's very loose on environment control, yes. However, there are also times it produces some good results.

Well said, Aaron.
I just want to add that I've shot some images in full manual that will never see the light of day again they were so bad. Manual does not equal quality.
