#2 disturbs me and the lighiting isnt thats good, too blown out in parts, and not very clear

#1 Has nice lighting, good job on that

#5 I like the best, its the most natural and the best pose IMO.

The last 2 do nothing for me, i find them a little cheesy

#1 is funny, cute though.

I also agree about the last 2, just kind of ...touristy.

I think the ones where they are wearing blue is the best, but colors need to be worked onto help them pop . The ones in the pink match thier skin and it all looks blah and beige. Perhaps some pp will help that?

The brown background is also much too in focus, imo

I think lighting is pretty good on most. and they seem relaxed and have natural expressions. good job

With names like those, you have to be from Finland...

Anyway, your subjects are really pale-looking (probably because they are!). And I think its partially the lighting? I know this is crummy advice, probably, but I am just saying what I think...

I would say something to you in Finnish, but I don't know how. I tried to learn, but its really difficult!

^ Yes, your correct, from Finland we are.

Summer and sun has just been started, so we are still very pale (some of us, like myself, are so blond and pale, that the two months of sun doesn't give a damn), we live in Oulu, which is near lappland, so the winter is dark.

Finnish isn't the easiest language to learn, but thanks for trying.

I would try and learn some of the basic styles of lighting...Broad, Narrow,Butterfly, Rembrandt, Split. Once you learn these you will be able to apply the techniques to your studio work. And watch your exposures! Loosing details in the highlights is a risky thing. Some of the big photographers are doing it recently but remember they have built a reputation and can bend or break the rules.
