One morning with the snow in Samara in Russia. The old quarters of the city are slowly being swallowed by modern buildings.

Hhmmm...

I have to say that I think this is a very interesting image. There's a rather evocative mood/feel here...the older house in the front with the more contemporary buildings in the back creates a nice juxtaposition and knowing this is "Russia", I feel the snow helps to support the mood. I think if I were to do anything to this image, it would mostly be with the processing......even with the snow, I think it comes off just a bit too high key and while I think the sepia works, I might push that just a little further. Granted it's easy to over-do sepia and granted, I tend to be a little over-fond of saturation myself, but I think I'd go just a bit more there.

Otherwise, very good shot...it really makes my eye want to explore it with my mind wondering what the story is behind the shot. Well done!
