From my walk this morning. Way back in 1872 Henry Shaw gave St. Louis a wonderful park -- Tower Grove. And Henry built in the park a pond complete with a set of fake ruins. Apparently fake ruins were fashionable back then. Today possibly the city's favorite venue for wedding photos. Eventually the ruins fell into ruin and in 2010 the city restored them to their original ruinous condition. The park also used to have natural running water -- a small creek. That was filled in and removed but in just the last couple years the parks dept. decided to build us a fake creek to replace the old one. Fuji X-T2 w/18-55mm
